Who was the most beautiful of the classic movie actresses?
If you asked dozen people that question the name "Ann
Sheridan" might not appear on anyone's list.
Not because she wasn't beautiful - she was.
But simply because she's not nearly as well-known as many of the other stunning actresses of the era.
She was very popular in her prime movie making period - the late 1930s to the late 1940s.
She appeared in some very entertaining films such as Kings Row (1942), The Man Who Came to
Dinner (1942), They Drive by Night (1940), City for Conquest (1940), George
Washington Slept Here (1942), Torrid Zone (1940) and I Was a Male War
Bride (1949).
Plus she starred opposite such notable leading men as James Cagney, Cary Grant, Ronald Reagan, Humphrey
Bogart and Errol Flynn to name a few.
